DNA barcode reference libraries are of immense importance for correct identification of organisms using DNA barcoding and metabarcoding. In this session we welcome contributions that focus on opportunities and challenges related to construction of reference databases and analysis of reference data: from filling the gaps and quality control of existing barcode libraries, to the analyses of species boundaries and use of integrative taxonomy in revision of classifications.
